present form of Town Government demands that residents each
year sit as captive citizensand
await their opportunity to vote on articles.It's
a long and tedious process which most folks abstain from,
especially on the 2nd night--how much of this can one take?Here
is a short video and photographs from the 2nd night of Town
Meeting in 2010. Notice the empty seats? The
tiny percent of our residents present will decide Andover's
future.
What's the fix? Charter Review. We need to find a fresh
and friendly form of Town Government.
